"Groupon Now!" Or Else...

As a student on a budget, I live for great restaurant deals through daily deal sites like Living Social and Groupon. It's a great start to the day when you see half off that Italian restaurant in North Beach that you've walked by but never quite wanted to blow your budget on. These deals are great for patient consumers who don't mind waiting around for a great deal to get sent to their email before heading out on the town. The good news is: if you aren't in the mood for cooking and decide to go out on a whim, you can still snag a great deal. Groupon Now! is one of Groupon's lesser- known creations. Accessible through the groupon.com website and as an app on your phone, Groupon Now! lets you get deals when you need them. Hanging out by school and feel like grabbing a quick, cheap lunch? Hop on your phone and pull up the Groupon app. The app will use your current location and tell you the instant deals available in your area. Half off at Doc Popcorn across the street? Half off at the Latin Grill down on North Point? It's a great way to try new places quickly and cheaply. For those stressed out students, there is also a section of Groupon Now! that offers cheap instant deals to pamper yourself. So while you are hitting the books hard this exam week, pick up your phone and treat yourself to a discounted meal and a much-needed massage.
