Get to know the faculty, adjunct and staff at school--they can help in providing you helpful information, support and guidance.
Don't stress on where your practicum placements are each year. Despite the location, population and assessment opportunities, you will always learn and get great experience if you open yourself up to it.
Start your personal therapy hours earlier than later because as time goes on you only get busier. Having that support is very helpful in the beginning transition to graduate school.
Schedule assessment tests you need for Intellectual/Psychodiagnostic Assessment courses early, because they get booked up pretty fast.
Get to know your APA Publication Manual well and/or look into utilizing reference software (e.g., Stylease or Endnote) to aid in writing papers/ dissertation.
